Despite the dark days of the Cultural Revolution in China, the artistry of the Chinese people survived and is now thriving. And perhaps one of the greatest displays on the global stage was the ‘Dream Tower’ at the opening ceremonies of the 2014 Youth Olympics in Nanjing.
This breath-taking show, dubbed the Dream Tower, is thought by many to have surpassed the pageantry and brilliance of the Beijing Olympics. Consisting of over 120 aerial acrobats, the Dream Tower always reminds me that anything is possible. And the sheer beauty of the display speaks for itself.
